Anyone who has ever owned a tiny dog knows appearances can be wildly deceiving. Small? Yes. Cute? Absolutely. Peaceful? Well, that part tends to depend on the day. One woman in Virginia recently learned that sometimes confidence and reality do not exactly line up. Especially when cameras are rolling.
At first glance, her TikTok started off sounding surprisingly hopeful for struggling pet owners everywhere. She opened the clip with a bold statement many dog owners would love to say confidently. “I have a very well-trained dog.” Promising, right?
Unfortunately, it took about three seconds for the internet to realize there may have been some competing opinions on that claim. The Virginia woman explained that training her beloved Yorkie, Tino, has been going well.
Virginia Dog Mom Thought She Had Things Under Control
Tino, however, appeared determined to offer his own version of events. As she spoke, the tiny Yorkshire terrier shifted into full chaos mode. He began growling, snapping, and making it abundantly clear that peace was apparently optional.
Despite weighing only around three pounds, Tino somehow managed to radiate the energy of a much larger creature entirely. At one point, his owner visibly struggled to contain him. Using both hands while attempting to continue filming and maintain her confidence about just how wonderfully behaved he supposedly was.
Meanwhile? Tino looked ready to run the household and possibly overthrow management. As the camera continued rolling, viewers watched the hilarious contradiction unfold in real time. His owner keeps insisting her dog was exceptionally well-behaved.
But Tino repeatedly interrupts by snapping, growling, and proving himself to be anything but cooperative. If dogs could roll their eyes, Tino seemed spiritually capable of it. Eventually, things became so chaotic that the Virginia pet mom had no choice but to pause the video altogether.
“That’s not a Yorkie. That’s a Tasmanian Devil,” one commenter writes.
