What started as a typical apartment living situation in Colorado has turned into a frightening ordeal for one woman who says her downstairs neighbor has taken harassment to a disturbing new level.
Brittany, whose handle on TikTok is @mqbns, has posted several disturbing videos revealing that a male tenant by the name of Jeremiah in the apartment complex has been waging a months-long campaign of intimidation against her. She says he has repeatedly covered her Ring cameras with cans to block her from recording him. But that’s just the beginning of what she describes as a “control and power” game.

The situation escalated beyond camera tampering when Brittany said the man physically assaulted her in the courtyard of their apartment complex.
“He’s already pinned me to the ground once and said, ‘You’re just a woman, I am a man! Don’t forget that!” she revealed. “And then he let me go. Meaning he can, and he will, overpower me any time he chooses.”
“The entire country just watched the documentary The Perfect Neighbor and saw how far crazy neighbors can go. Why is this happening?” one concerned follower asks.
“Women are never believed,” adds another.
That moment left Brittany shaken and terrified, especially since she lives directly above him. “It’s so gross knowing that he’s literally inches away from me,” she said. Despite the fear, Brittany is fighting back the only way she can. By documenting everything. She says she’s in the process of filing her second protection order, but has struggled to have it served because the man keeps dodging law enforcement.
“The problem is serving him,” she said. “This is my second protection order, and he’s still avoiding it.”
Colorado Woman Fights For Safety, Sanity, And Justice
Undeterred, she’s upgraded her home security setup, installing two additional Ring cameras and even a trail camera that doesn’t rely on Wi-Fi. Just in case he tries to interfere again. “I don’t want there to be any reason why he’s not recorded,” Brittany said, adding with dark humor that her neighbor is “basically helping her build a case against him.”
The Colorado resident says she’s reached a breaking point. She has shared several videos doccumenting her story. Each one more disturbing than the last. After the assault and constant harassment, she’s decided to arm herself for protection. “I ordered a taser this morning,” she admitted. “But I’m scared because he’s a big guy, and I feel like it’ll just make him angrier.”
She’s also been in contact with Colorado police numerous times. Brittany adds she and is pushing for an eviction of the man. But if that doesn’t happen soon, she’s prepared to move out altogether. “If he doesn’t get evicted after this, I’m gone,” she said. “And I’m going to get two months of free rent out of it before I leave to cover my moving costs.”
Unhinged Neighbor Targets Women
For now, Brittany’s cameras are rolling. And so is her determination to stay safe and hold her neighbor accountable. Another terrifying detail, she says, is that others, especially single women, have also had issues with him. “It’s not just me,” she said. “He goes after other women here, too. It’s a power thing for him.”
Brittany’s story is a chilling reminder that sometimes the real danger isn’t from strangers, but from the person living just a few feet away. While she waits for the system to catch up, she’s relying on cameras, courage, and her own resilience to keep the truth on record.
Because when someone says, “Don’t forget I’m a man,” it’s not just a threat. It’s a warning she refuses to ignore, and neither should other women.
