When people go to the gym, they are going to attempt to better themselves. However, with that being said, sometimes lifting isn’t the only thing going on when somebody enters the gym. Take this recently posted TikTok video for example. The clip has around 37K likes and 309K views as this Texas woman has a run in with a gym bro Karen. Social media users seemingly can’t get enough of the drama as the clip has certainly gone viral.
The TikTok video starts off with the woman sitting down on a leg machine in order to do her lift. However, she had set up her phone to record herself doing the workout. This is a pretty common practice for people who go to the gym, they are either doing it for social media content, or they want to see their lifting form from a different perspective. However, the Texas woman’s caption states that she was doing it for content as it reads, “At the gym looking to record my content and had a man come up to enforce a rule that the manager gave the okay to do. Side note: He doesn’t even work there.”
TikTok Roasts Rude Texas Man Amid Gym Altercation
As the video continues, sure enough a man’s voice can be heard from behind the woman’s phone. He can be heard telling her that it is against the rules to film inside the gym. Although the woman would return fire by telling him that he has no authority to enforce the rules, and that he needs to go get the manager or something. She also points out that the man isn’t seen in the shot after he complains about not wanting to be on camera. Yet, he would then come around the phone and into the frame as he states, “I am now.”
The TikTok comment section was up in arms following this, as many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the encounter. “People just be bored,” pointed out one. Another stated, “I wouldn’t have said a word.” Someone else then said, “You’re so sweet, I can tell,” regarding the woman in the video. Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “He really did want to be in your video.“
Sadly, the TikTok would come to an end following this man’s little temper tantrum about being in the background of a random video, even though he wasn’t. At the end of the day, people really do take themselves too seriously. Hopefully this young Texas woman was able to get through the rest of her workout without being bothered by this rude old man.
