A video that’s been making the rounds online shows what started as a simple post-fender-bender exchange turning into an all-out racist tirade, and it’s safe to say, the internet isn’t having it.
The footage begins at a local gas station where a Black woman had reportedly pulled over after a minor collision to exchange information responsibly. Enter a white man, later identified as Ronald Gorham, an Army veteran, who immediately went on the offensive. Instead of calmly sorting things out, Gorham can be seen pacing next to his Jeep Mojave, accusing the woman of trying to hit and run, all while calling the police to make his case.
But things took an even darker turn when his frustration turned into hate. The man hurled the N-word at her, and when she shot back verbally, he responded by spitting directly in her face. Of course, it’s all caught on camera.
Texas Veteran Screams Hate Speech At Black Woman
In a state as proud and outspoken as Texas, people don’t hold back when they see injustice. The clip spread like wildfire, prompting instant outrage across platforms. Dr. Candice Matthews, the attorney representing the woman, confirmed on Instagram that Gorham was arrested by Harris County Sheriff’s deputies shortly after the incident.
“Here’s Ronald Gorham being arrested after calling my client the N-word and spitting on her yesterday!” Matthews wrote via Instagram. “This disgusting act will not be tolerated — we are pushing for this to be prosecuted as a HATE CRIME under Texas law.”
Matthews’ statement struck a chord with viewers who’ve seen far too many similar incidents go viral in recent years, moments where a routine dispute suddenly exposes just how quickly racial tensions can ignite. “This kind of racial violence and disrespect toward our Black community will be exposed every single time,” she added.
The video, now viewed thousands of times, has reignited a broader conversation about accountability and race relations in everyday America and Texas, once again, finds itself at the center of that discussion.
The Internet Is Convinced He’s MAGA
While Gorham’s arrest may bring some relief, many online are calling for tougher consequences, pointing out that racism this blatant doesn’t just happen in the heat of the moment. It’s a reminder that respect, especially on Texas roads, is a choice, and one that too many still fail to make.
“Just another MAGA,” one person commented via Reddit. “That N word slid off his tongue too easy,” another stated. “Typical Republican behavior,” a third person wrote. “She was calmer than most people would be,” a fourth comment read.
As for Gorham, the Texas Army veteran who’s now infamous for his unhinged outburst, the court of public opinion has already spoken.
