It seems like every week there’s another delivery-gone-wrong story, but this one out of Ohio takes the cake. A woman ordered food for herself and her kids through DoorDash, expecting a quick, simple dinner. Instead, she got a viral-level headache when her delivery driver and the driver’s boyfriend allegedly decided to help themselves to her order and her cigarettes.
Thankfully, this Ohio resident had home security cameras rolling because what they captured is straight-up wild. The TikTok video, posted by @wesickandtired, starts mid-drama: a young woman films as her mother confronts the DoorDash driver right outside their home. You can hear the mom shout, “What the [expletive] are you all doing?” after catching the pair red-handed.
The video shows the driver standing awkwardly in the yard, trying to explain herself. Meanwhile, the homeowner isn’t buying it for a second. According to the mom, the driver dropped off the Taco Bell bag to take the required “proof of delivery” photo, then turned right back around and stole it. Not only that, but she and her boyfriend allegedly snatched a pack of cigarettes that had been sitting on a nearby patio table.

“Give me back my food,” the furious customer says. “My camera’s right there. I just saw you steal.” Instead of fessing up, the DoorDash driver digs in, insisting, “No, I did not.” The homeowner keeps pressing until finally yanking the bag right out of her hand.
When she demands the cigarettes back, the masked boyfriend just stands there, a silent partner in this whole messy fiasco. “You’re lucky you didn’t go to jail,” the customer snaps before heading back inside.
Once safely in her home, the Ohio mom admits on camera that she’s scared to even eat the food now. Who could blame her? She points out that there’s no way to know if the pair tampered with it before she caught them. “They may have already been in it,” she says, before revealing she plans to call DoorDash to report the situation.
The Internet Loved The Drama
Later in the clip, security footage confirms exactly what she described. The DoorDash driver and her boyfriend can be seen pulling up in a black truck, setting the food down, taking the photo, then doing a quick about-face to snatch both the Taco Bell and the cigarettes before walking off. It’s one of those “caught in 4K” moments that makes you wonder what they were thinking.
“They sharing a cigarette so no I’m not surprised they stole yours,” one person commented. “Why he walking up to the door with her?” another asked. “I thought this was a skit until the end,” another stated. “They just let anybody do DoorDash,” a fourth comment read.
Unfortunately, these kinds of incidents are becoming all too common. Several delivery debacles have gone viral in recent months. Between drivers stealing food and customers trying to scam refunds, it’s turned into a blame game that rarely ends well for anyone. Meanwhile, this Ohio mom might not be trusting her next DoorDash delivery without checking the footage first.
