A quiet Missouri neighborhood got a front-row seat to total teenage chaos earlier this month after what was supposed to be a low-key football hangout spiraled into a full-blown disaster. Everyone knows that house parties can get a little rowdy, but this was the kind of mayhem people joke about, except it actually happened, and nothing about it is funny for the family who owns the home.
The chaos unfolded in early November, when homeowner Andy Homar left Missouri to attend his brother’s wedding in Mexico. According to family friend Tony Stoverink, who spoke with CafeMom, Andy’s teenage son Kaelen planned to invite just a few friends over to watch football.
As the night went on, more and more teens poured into the home many from different high schools and a TikTok video quickly confirmed the scene looked less like a chill get-together and more like a wild music-festival mosh pit. Teens were yelling, standing on countertops, and crowd surfing inside the house. At one point, the kitchen counters were reportedly ripped right off.
Missouri House Party Gets Out Of Control
Stoverink said the mob of uninvited guests “destroyed” the home. By the end of the night, the group had allegedly broken a TV, smashed windows, and torn up parts of the kitchen. His best estimate? Around 100 teenagers packed into the Missouri home before the police finally showed up.
Sixteen-year-old Kaelen Homar told KSDK he had only invited a few friends, but someone leaked his address online. Once that happened, the situation exploded. “It just got a little out of hand,” Kaelen admitted. “It just kept spreading and spreading.” Things went so badly, the teen actually called 911 on his own party.
And as if property destruction wasn’t enough, at least one teen ended the night with a serious injury. Seager Gipson, 17, told KSDK he was hit in the head when someone threw a chair.
“I got seven stitches in my head and a golf ball-sized lump,” he explained.
His mother, Amber Gipson, was furious, telling CafeMom, “I’m highly disgusted and disappointed with the way kids/people are behaving these days… Had that metal chair hit his eye or somewhere else… it could’ve ruined or completely ended his life.”
Straight Out Of A Movie
No one has claimed responsibility for the damage or the injury, but Amber wants accountability and she didn’t hold back about her feelings toward both the teens and the parents: “The parties responsible need to be held accountable… Also, do better, parents.”
Stoverink shared video footage from the Missouri party online to help identify the teenagers, and viewers were stunned. “You kids out here are wild asf,” one person commented. “Destroying someone’s home like it’s a flex is INSANE and truly sad,” another wrote.
While Stoverink admitted that kids make mistakes, he made it clear this was beyond normal teen behavior: “I remember having parties and going to some, but NEVER to this level.”
Missouri residents are hoping someone steps up, police find the culprits, and the Homar family gets justice and maybe a little peace after this nightmare. In a world where everyone films everything, it shouldn’t take long for the truth to come out.
