‘Dude Wasn’t Expecting To Get A Whopper’: Texas Whataburger Manager Uses Fry Basket And Trash Can To Back Down Attacker

When seeing an online video of a fight inside a restaurant or eating establishment, many viewers’ first thoughts go straight to Waffle House. Waffle House is a known brawling location in the service industry. However, this recently posted TikTok video may just put the others to shame as a Texas Whataburger manager hands out a crazy beatdown to a customer. The clip has around 1.87 million likes and 14.4 million views, as social media users can’t get enough of the action.

Sadly, the TikTok starts off with the action already underway, and viewers do not get to see the events that led up to this iconic moment. However, what they do get to see is arguably better, as the Texas Whataburger manager can be seen swinging a trash can around full strength as he continuously brings it down on a customer. The employee gets multiple overhead swings that connect to the man lying on the ground behind the counter. Finally, the worker would stop as the customer was able to get to his feet. Viewers then see a man in all black with his hood up standing up from behind the counter as he looks hurt.

Don’t mess with Texas… Or Whataburger workers!🗑️🍔 Night shift workers in Paris, TX aren’t playing around. After a man returned to the N. Main Whataburger to assault a staff member, workers took matters into their own hands to protect the store. Witnesses say a fry basket sent the attacker to the ground, and a manager used a trash can to keep him there until he gave up. He’s now facing multiple charges—including criminal mischief for intentionally flooding the jail after his arrest.

TikTok Reacts To Texas Whataburger Beatdown

The TikTok comment section was not feeling sorry for the person, though. Many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the Whataburger beatdown. “Dude wasn’t expecting to get a whopper,” joked one. Another person also said, “Whataburger, you better not fire them for this, promotions for people who defend their staff rather than running.” One other person also joked, “Bro came over from Waffle House, and he doesn’t play.” Finally, one last person said, “Waffle House employee here, congratulations! You passed your interview. Can you start today at 2 pm?

As the TikTok video continues, the other Texas Whataburger employees can be heard calling the police, as hopefully, the situation was sorted out shortly after that. While it is unknown what this man did to get that kind of trash can beating, but it must have been something crazy

At the end of the day, this Texas man was about protecting his staff. Yet, this may not have been the best way to do that. The service industry can be very stressful, and people are always ready to complain about something. Although it’s also important to keep your cool in situations like these, as it led to someone being injured.
