The internet is full of all kinds of videos about all kinds of topics. However, it’s not every day you get to see somebody save another person’s life. Well, that’s exactly what social media users were treated to in this recently posted TikTok video. The clip has around two million likes and 30.7 million views as it is absolutely crushing it right now. Viewers were on the edge of their seats as they watched this young Texas woman perform life-saving CPR on a stranger in downtown Dallas.
The TikTok video starts off with the action already underway as a group of people can be seen crowded around a man who has collapsed on the crosswalk. Sadly, it is unknown exactly what happened to this man, or if any of the people around him knew him. However, one thing is for certain, and that is that this Texas man was extremely lucky that this young woman was there that night. As one of the people in the crowd moves, social media users are left with the heroic scene of a young college student desperately attempting to administer life-saving CPR as she is “Fighting for his life,” as some TikTok commenters described it.
TikTok React To Young Texas Woman’s Heroics
Other users would also flood the video’s comment section to leave behind their own thoughts on this intense situation. “I Just KNOW she’s singing Staying Alive,” said one. “As a nurse, she’s doing a great job. See how his stomach is popping up on every compression? That means it’s deep enough,” pointed out another. One other commenter wrote, “This is honestly the best bystander CPR I have ever seen.” Finally, one last person’s comment read, “Finally, someone helping instead of recording!”
Sadly, the TikTok video comes to an end before the paramedics arrive, and it is unknown if the Texas man was responsive. At the very least, though, this brave young woman stepped up when most would and did not. That takes a crazy amount of courage and should not go unnoticed in the slightest.
At the end of the day, this Young Texas college student may have saved the life of a complete stranger. Whatever the case may be, she was certainly in the right place at the right time that night, and that man is very lucky she was there. Being able to perform CPR is an incredible skill, and more people should take classes to get certified.
