Wild animals, for the most part anyway, usually stay away from heavily populated areas, and with that being said, just humans in general. However, that is just not always the case. Sometimes, those same wild animals wander into society and cause mass chaos. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 6.1 million likes and 35.2 million views as a Connecticut UPS driver gets chased around his route by a pair of wild turkeys.
The TikTok video begins with the UPS driver racing underneath the balcony of the woman recording. As he rushes past, he can also be heard gloating about his speed. There is also text on the screen that reads, “I thought someone was fighting outside. It was just the UPS man fighting for his life from the turkeys.” The Connecticut UPS driver then tosses a package onto a porch as he races back to his truck. Finally, viewers can see the turkeys as they wait for him outside the passenger’s door.

The TikTok comment section seemingly found this whole ordeal very funny, though. Many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding this man’s turkey time. “The funniest part is that those turkeys are not being aggressive. They’re playing with him,” pointed out one commenter. “You can tell he’s having the best and worst time all at once,” wrote one more. Finally, one last person would joke, “That is sheer panic and terror in that man’s voice.” It would seem as though many understand that the man is in no real danger and is just having a good time.
However, as the TikTok video continues, the Connecticut UPS driver also has to continue delivering packages on that specific street. This leads him to take off running from his truck yet again. Although this time, the pair of turkeys would follow him as he ran down the street.
As the TikTok comes to an end, the Connecticut UPS driver makes it back to his vehicle safely once again. At the end of the day, this was all just a little bit of innocent fun, and it looked like the turkeys had the most fun out of anyone involved. Luckily, the delivery man was very laid back about the whole thing, as the wild animals just simply don’t know any better. Nevertheless, it’s always fun to play along with the joke from time to time.
