Jennifer Aniston reportedly has decided to rethink her relationship with her current boyfriend, Jim Curtis. It is no secret that the couple’s relationship was on the fast track to marriage, something that many of her friends were very concerned about. But recently Jen has felt the need to slow things way down, and her pals are backing her all the way.
This doesn’t mean Jen and Jim have called it quits, at least not for now. Aniston and Curtis are still very much a couple, and continue to back each other 100 percent. However, according to Radar Online sources, the “Friends” star has recently begun having some second thoughts about jumping into a third marriage.
What Led Jennifer Aniston to Reconsider Marrying Jim Curtis?
Radar insiders tell the site that Jennifer is very much in love with Jim. But the source adds, “She doesn’t want to rush down the aisle any time soon. She’s happy with the status quo, and she’s also had two disappointing experiences with marriage, so the idea of tying the knot again feels overwhelming to her.”
That being said, Jennifer Aniston’s closest pals and many fans have also allegedly been very skeptical of the couple’s growing relationship. Curtis and Aniston first met in early summer of 2025 and only dated a few weeks before going public with their romance in July.
Curtis, a wellness guru and a published author, was introduced to Aniston by mutual friends, according to Page Six reports. Their mutual friend felt that Jen could allegedly use some guidance following an extremely difficult year. But once things between the pair began to escalate, those close to her began to grow concerned. Some feared that Jim was moving too quickly. He not only calmed Jen’s anxiety, but also seemingly grew too comfortable with Jen’s high-profile celebrity lifestyle.
Whether Jen has listened to her friends’ concerns, or is just having second thoughts about jumping into another marriage is unknown. But either way, it appears as if something between the two has changed. For now, marriage is nowhere in the future.
“The good news for Jen’s friends is that she’s pumped the brakes on marrying Jim,” the insider dished. “She loves him dearly, but they definitely have some things to figure out.”

The film is directed by Olivia Wilde and follows the story of a woman named Mallory, who finds herself setting off on a wild adventure to the North Pole in search of Santa Claus (Peter Dinklage) in hopes of convincing him to testify in her upcoming divorce hearing.
While “Naughty” doesn’t appear to be your usual holiday film, one thing is for sure. Jen has a knack for comedy. As far as her relationship with Jim Curtis, while it may be slowing down a bit, for the time being it doesn’t look like Jen will be spending the holidays alone anytime soon.
