Sharon Osbourne is still learning to live with the grief of losing her longtime love, Ozzy Osbourne. The rocker’s wife says that it’s something that she deals with every day since the music legend’s passing in 2025. Now, she’s opening up about his death and his grave, which she says she deliberately chose to keep away from the public.

During a BBC interview, Sharon Osbourne admitted that she’ll never truly get over losing her husband. However, one thing that helps with the grief is visiting his grave every single day. She also admitted that she can easily do this because Ozzy is buried on the property of their home, where she chose to keep him from visiting fans.

Where Is Ozzy Osbourne Buried?

“There was no way I could put Ozzy in a public graveyard. I’ve seen what happens to other people in the public eye. There’s no peace because people want to come and they want to pay their respects. That’s an ongoing thing, and I wanted Ozzy to rest and just be,” Sharon stated. “I can see him from my window,” she added.

Sharon also shared intimate details about her last moments with Ozzy, revealing that they had some special time together in the hours before his death.

Sharon and Ozzy’s Final Moments Revealed

“We’d spoken in the night. Ozzy had woken in the night and he asked me to kiss him twice, and I did. And then he said, ‘Hold me, hold me tight,’ and I did,” she recalled. “And then the next thing I know, it’s early in the morning, and someone comes rushing into the room saying, ‘Come down now.’ I ran down, and that was it.”

Just days before his death, Ozzy Osbourne performed his final concert with Black Sabbath, despite doctors warning him that it wasn’t a good idea due to his many health issues.

Doctors Advised Ozzy Not To Perform His Final Concert

“The whole family was terrified,” Sharon said in the interview. “It’s amazing what support and love and determination can do for you, because [before the show] he was somebody that couldn’t breathe. He had a lung condition. He had a heart condition. He had terrible, terrible agony from his spine. He had blood clots and he had Parkinson’s.

I don’t know how he did it, but he did it,” she continued. “And you saw it in his eyes, in his face. It just made him feel like he was alive again.”

Ozzy’s final resting place has also become a destination for flowers and messages from fans mourning the legendary heavy metal performer.

What Happened To The Messages And Flowers Left By Fans?

Sharon Osbourne also shared what she and her family opted to do with all of the cards, notes, and flowers left for Ozzy at memorials and during his public funeral procession.

Sharon says that all of the items were collected and sorted. They were photographed, kept, and the flowers were composted into the family’s garden at their private Buckinghamshire estate, where Ozzy Osbourne is buried.

Fans Show Love

“Over forty years together and she still goes to sit with him. Rest easy Ozzy,” one person commented via X. “She’s a widow now & that is a hard horrible thing,” another stated. “I know she misses him,” a third person weighed in. “Death affects everyone differently,” a fourth person wrote.

Sharon and Ozzy’s home is now a permanent memorial to the late rockstar, and while his grave may not be accessible to the public, his fans are there with him in spirit and through the loving tributes they left at his memorials.
