As the Sean “Diddy” Combs sex trafficking trial heats up, the buzz around Hollywood is less about red carpets and more about subpoenas. With explosive testimony already shaking the courtroom, some celebrities are reportedly sweating bullets and calling up their attorneys just in case their names end up on a witness list. Stars like Ashton Kutcher, Justin Bieber, Michael B. Jordan, LeBron James, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lopez, and more have all been mentioned by fans when it comes to the scandal. However, it’s unclear who will be involved.

TMZ founder Harvey Levin recently spilled some tea during a chat with Fox News Digital, saying, “I have heard that there are some celebrities worried about being called to testify and have even lawyered up trying to fight that.” And honestly? We’re not surprised.

This trial is not your average celebrity scandal. Diddy is facing some extremely serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. It’s not just career-ending kind of stuff, it’s life-altering. And apparently, some folks in his famous circle are hoping to avoid getting dragged into it.

While Levin didn’t name any specific celebs beyond those already on the stand, the speculation is growing. Cassie, Kid Cudi, and Dawn Richard have all testified so far, and the details being revealed are jaw-dropping. If you’re a star who ever partied with Diddy or knew what went on behind the scenes, there’s probably a very real concern that your name could come up next, even if you’re not directly involved.

And with four more weeks of testimony to go, as Levin pointed out, “We will see. But what they clearly are doing is cobbling together what they claim is proof beyond a reasonable doubt that he has committed these various crimes.”

Cassie, who has emerged as the prosecution’s “star witness,” is at the center of much of the testimony. According to Levin, if the jury believes her claim that Diddy threatened to release a sex video unless she agreed to participate in another “freak off,” it could spell serious trouble. “That clearly would show coercion,” Levin said. “So, I think Diddy has a big problem there if the jury believes it.”

Then there’s Kid Cudi’s bombshell involvement. On Wednesday, an arson investigator testified about the mysterious 2012 fire that destroyed the rapper’s Porsche. While no charges were filed, the case is still listed as “inactive” rather than closed, which raises a few eyebrows. Diddy’s alleged involvement in that situation paints a picture that Levin described as “a crazed, criminal, jealous boyfriend.”

Between the car fire, the alleged threats to Cassie, and accusations of physical abuse from Diddy’s former stylist Deonte Nash, this trial is a mess. Nash testified that he saw Diddy hit Cassie, choke him, and even say things like, “Look what you all made me do.” It’s the kind of testimony that’s hard to walk back — and even harder for celebs close to Diddy to distance themselves from.

So what’s next? With more witnesses expected and some big names apparently lawyering up to avoid the courtroom spotlight, this trial might turn into one of the biggest celebrity legal dramas we’ve seen in years. Levin made it clear that while the Diddy trial racketeering charges might be a stretch. “He’s not selling drugs. He’s using people to help him buy drugs.” The sex trafficking and coercion allegations could be a real nail in the coffin.
