Not because Cruise was at a concert. After all, he’s allowed to love music. But because the concert in question was Oasis, the same band that once had some very public choice words for him.
In the band’s 2007 documentary Lord Don’t Slow Me Down, Noel and Liam Gallagher went off on Tom Cruise like it was a full-time job. Noel called him a f—ing midget. “He’s a little f—er, and he’s not been in one good film his entire career.” Liam tried to toss Cocktail a bone, but still flat-out declared, “I hate Tom Cruise.”
There was even a moment when Tom Cruise reportedly confronted Liam at a Berlin hotel while promoting Valkyrie, according to Fox News. No fists flew, no drinks were thrown, and they reportedly kept it civil. Cruise reminded Liam that Cocktail still had a fan in him. Bold move, sir.
