Sporting events can get a little wild from time to time, especially if it’s a big game. However, high school sports are supposed to be for learning the game and having fun, but some parents take it a little too seriously. This recently posted TikTok video with around 700 likes and 36.2K views shows a situation exactly like that. Social media users can’t get enough of the drama as this Maine woman gets kicked out of a high school basketball game for causing a scene.
Sadly, the TikTok starts off with the action already underway. The woman can be seen screaming at the top of her lungs regarding the game. This would have been fine if she were just cheering for her team. However, she was not just cheering; she was booing and using foul language. The other fans sitting around the Maine woman couldn’t believe what they were hearing from her either. One can even be heard saying, “This is nuts.” The video’s caption also states, “Caribou isn’t a big town, let’s make this lady famous! Mind you, this was at a high school basketball game.”
TikTok Reacts To Angry Maine Basketball Fan
The TikTok comment section was locked and loaded for this one, though. Many users would flood the video in order to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the altercation. “I would say that most parents nowadays need to realize that it’s just a game,” wrote one. Another pointed out, “If you knew who everyone up there voted for, this wouldn’t surprise you.” One other person also asked, “Who is she yelling at?” Finally, one last commenter stated, “She’s an adult screaming profanity at an event full of children.”
As the TikTok video continues, the Maine woman’s anger also continues to grow. It gets to the point where she has to be asked to leave the game by the staff. This is no way to act in public or at all, for that matter. Hopefully, this woman got herself calmed down before the situation got too out of hand. At the end of the day, this woman and many other parents need to remember this is only a game, and it’s meant for children to have fun. Competition is a good thing, but this kind of behavior is just over the line.
