Growing up riding bikes, skateboards, or scooters is arguably one of the most fun outdoor childhood activities during the warmer months. However, apparently not everyone shares the sentiment. This recently posted TikTok video with around 43.2K likes and 575.8K views shows exactly that situation. The clip shows an altercation between an older North Carolina woman and a group of multiple young children as she crashes out on them for allegedly riding scooters around their neighborhood together.
The TikTok starts off with one of the kids already being scolded by the older woman. However, it is important to point out that this woman doesn’t seem to be one of the children’s parents or even a guardian. She can be heard talking about finding out who the young boy’s parents are, as well as the rest of the group of children. One of the boys can even be seen still on his scooter as the North Carolina Karen rips into him, for seemingly no reason at all.
TikTok Roasts Annoying North Carolina Karen
The TikTok comment section was up in arms following this altercation, as many would flood the video in order to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions on the situation. “That’s bullying,” pointed out one commenter. Another said, “My kids don’t owe any random adult respect. Respect is earned, not given.” One other person also wrote, “This generation doesn’t respect you just because you’re an adult. They will respect you if you respect them!” Finally, one last person wrote, “Maybe she should talk to the parent and not the child.” It would seem as though most social media users are not happy with how this woman dealt with the situation.
As the TikTok video continues, the older North Carolina woman starts to get very angry at the group of kids. At this point, she has noticed that she is being recorded. As this happens, she walks over to the person recording to tell them to stop. However, the person refuses, and this leads to the Karen ripping the phone out of their hand. It’s also important to remember that the person recording is also most likely a child.
Sadly, the TikTok would come to an end following this. While it is unknown what had occurred off-camera, this North Carolina Karen probably just made herself public enemy number one in that neighborhood. At the end of the day, kids are going to act like kids, and that means going outside and getting into a little bit of trouble. However, maybe next time, if this woman has an issue with the children, she should take it up with an adult.
