Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce just made their love story official. The two shared their engagement news on Instagram with the kind of post that screams “modern fairytale.”
In the photos, Travis is down on one knee in a gorgeous garden setting while Taylor beams with joy. Their caption? “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.” Only Taylor and Travis could pull off something that cute and cheeky at the same time. To top it off, they set the post to “So High School,” Taylor’s track from The Tortured Poets Department, which is all about their romance. Yes, they really went there.
Of course, fans didn’t miss the sparkle. Taylor’s new ring is an old mine brilliant cut, designed by Kindred Lubeck. It’s classic, timeless, and perfectly Taylor, according to TMZ.
This whole love story kicked off back in July 2023 when Travis admitted on his New Heights podcast that he tried — and failed — to give Taylor a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City. The confession made headlines, and apparently caught Taylor’s attention.
