Denise Richards has had enough. The 54-year-old actress and former Bond girl is taking legal action to evict her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, and his family from the Calabasas home they’ve been occupying for years. The move comes after Denise nearly violated her restraining order during an unannounced visit to the property earlier this month.
In her court filing, Denise Richards requested that the judge grant her an eight-hour window to clear out her belongings, her late mother’s keepsakes, and most importantly, her dogs. She claims she originally left items behind under the impression that Aaron’s family would be moving back to Canada. That never happened. Instead, the house has reportedly fallen into disrepair. Denise says she fears her things and her pets aren’t safe.

Her concern isn’t totally unfounded. Aaron recently made the decision to euthanize one of their dogs due to cancer. This is something Denise cited as fueling her urgency to act. To make matters worse, Aaron has been unemployed for some time. He has been sharing the property with his elderly parents and brother.
“Be a man, get a job, your free ride is over. She needs to stay single… and sober, for a very long time!” one fan writes.
“How do you get away with not paying rent for three years?” asks another.
What was supposed to be a temporary family stay has stretched into over three years, according to Daily Mail reports. Meanwhile, Denise has been forced to bounce around Calabasas rentals, stacking up three separate townhouses to accommodate herself, her daughters, and even her work needs.
Denise Richards Gears Up For Major Divorce Battle Blowout
Needless to say, the landlord has been chasing unpaid rent. They have already warned that eviction proceedings will move forward by late August. Denise is simply trying to get ahead of the mess before it spirals further.
Things between Denise and Aaron have unraveled quickly. He filed for divorce in July, seeking a jaw-dropping $105,000 a month in spousal support, despite having “no income.” Denise Richards, on the other hand, is asking him to cover her legal costs. She also requests he attend a year-long intervention program and take responsibility for expenses tied to the alleged abuse claims she’s made against him.

The restraining order battle continues as well, with another hearing scheduled for early September. Aaron has denied Denise’s allegations, leaving the court to sort through the mud-slinging. While the home drama rages on, Denise hasn’t slowed down professionally. She’s filming new projects, appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
At this point, Denise isn’t just evicting her estranged husband’s family. She’s evicting the chaos that’s followed her for years. With rent battles, restraining orders, and dog drama, the situation feels more reality TV than reality. Luckily for Denise, she’s already got the cameras rolling on that with Bravo.
