Kai Cenat’s massive Mafiathon 3 stream is off to a star-studded start in New York, with appearances from Kim Kardashian and Mariah Carey setting the tone on the first two days. But while Day Two delivered plenty of laughs, it also came with one seriously cringe-worthy moment courtesy of Ray J.
The singer-turned-reality star has been making headlines lately for his relentless defense of Diddy, and he brought that same energy right into Cenat’s house. Let’s just say it didn’t exactly go as planned.

During an interaction with streamer RayAsianBoy, Ray J was asked if he had ever attended one of Diddy’s legendary parties. Instead of a simple yes or no, Ray J puffed up his chest and replied, “I’m the new Diddy.” The response left Cenat visibly stunned, and then came the kicker. Rather than roll with the awkward flex, Cenat booted Ray J from his New York event altogether.
Ray J Goes From Bold Claim to Big Embarrassment
As he was being shown the door, he doubled down by chanting “free Puffy” multiple times. The entire exchange was streamed live, instantly becoming one of those viral, can’t-believe-this-happened moments.
That wasn’t Ray J’s only bizarre moment of the night. At one point, while Cenat was in the shower, Ray J tried to join in as a DJ played his hit “One Wish” in the background. The segment was clearly meant for laughs, fitting the anything-goes vibe of Cenat’s streams, but paired with his earlier outburst, it all just added to the chaos.
Despite the drama, Mafiathon 3 is rolling on for the rest of the month. Cenat has promised even more big names. He’s even hinted that if he reaches one million subscribers, LeBron James will personally cut his hair live on stream.
As for Ray J, the entertainer has been dipping into Twitch himself since January. Looking for numerous ways to chase the same wave of online clout. But after his New York flop, one thing’s for sure. Trying to be the next Diddy in Kai Cenat’s New York stream didn’t exactly go as planned. Ray J got shown the door, leaving viewers laughing and him with a very public reality check.”
