Sean Diddy Combs remains detained at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center following his mixed verdict in a sex crimes case, despite submitting a $50 million bail proposal with strict conditions. This included electronic monitoring and travel restrictions. However, the disgraced rapper was denied bail for the second time.
Judge Arun Subramanian sided with prosecutors who argued that Diddy poses a flight risk. They claim that due to his substantial wealth, alleged history of bribing security officials, and ability to conceal criminal activity, it is unadvised. The judge ruled that increasing bail or adding conditions would not change that assessment.
So, they have opted to try again by taking another approach. In an appeal to the court, Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo described the Brooklyn facility as “inhumane” and raised serious concerns about the conditions of Diddy’s detention.
The defense claims that the jail routinely serves expired or contaminated food. He states his meals are often infested with maggots and show signs of rot. A photo submitted with the appeal was cited as evidence of these unsanitary conditions. Additionally, frequent lockdowns at the detention center were noted as “exceptional circumstances” warranting bail consideration.

Reports indicate they have urgently reached out to former President Donald Trump to discuss the possibility of a pardon.
