Road rage is a serious problem, and there is no end in sight. There are countless clips online that show insane altercations on the roadways. Unfortunately, this recently posted TikTok video is no different. The clip has around 20K likes and 1.2 million views, as this Utah man can be seen flashing a weapon at another driver right in front of a police officer. Social media users apparently can’t get enough of the drama, as the video has skyrocketed to viral status.
The TikTok starts off with a bang as the angry man can be seen storming down the sidewalk. However, as the person records from inside their car, another man is walking right towards the first guy. Yet, he quickly makes a retreat once the first man pulls out his weapon and points it directly at him. The Utah man then looks right into the camera as he stuffs the sidearm back into his pants’ pocket. The now scared person gets back into their car as the first man continues to walk to them.
TikTok Reacts To Heated Utah Road Rage Encounter
At this point, the camera person turns to point out a police officer sitting inside his car right next to the men. However, the officer either didn’t see what just happened or just straight up didn’t care. As the man gets back in his car to leave, the person with the weapon slaps the back of the vehicle. Sadly, the video would come to an end following this. However, those who saw the altercation unfold are not happy.
The TikTok comment section was up in arms following this as many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the matter. “Prefect encapsulation of America,” wrote one. Another person pointed out, “The cop definitely isn’t serving or protecting.” One other person joked, “That cop was texting.” Finally, one last comment read, “Maybe it depends on the state, but if your life is in danger or someone else’s life, you can absolutely draw a gun like that.”
At the end of the day, this was a crazy overreaction by the first Utah man. This was not the right time to do something like this, and it just put so many people at risk. Hopefully, next time, both men will just stay in their vehicles, and it won’t have to come to this again. Weapons are not toys, and cannot be used lightly; some people seemingly forget that fact.
