Shoe shopping should be one of the easier tasks in adult life. However, not for this extremely unhappy New York woman, as she can be seen throwing a huge fit inside of a shoe store. A recently posted TikTok video with around 2K likes and 277K views shows the altercation as social media users can’t get enough of the action. The clip continues to trend towards viral status as viewers laugh it up big time.
The TikTok video starts off with the action already underway, sadly. However, the good part was caught on camera as the New York woman can be seen hurling multiple boxes at one of the store’s employees. One of the boxes even makes contact with the woman’s employees as she says, “That’s assault, ma’am.” The Karen would then quickly make her escape as she stormed out of the store. The employee then follows close behind as she can be heard saying, “Let’s get your license plate number.” The person recording also seems to be an employee of the shoe store, as they follow the Karen out into the parking lot.
TikTok Reacts To New York Shoe Store Karen
The TikTok comment section was up in arms following this altercation. Many would flood the video to leave behind their own thoughts on the matter at hand, as well as roast the Karen for her childish behavior. “People are just so mean,” one pointed out. Another asked, “Was she arrested?” One other commenter joked, “I’m guessing that you didn’t have her size!” One other person wrote, “As long as people accept this and provide zero consequences, stop acting surprised when people continue to do this.” Finally, one last comment read, “As someone who laughs hysterically at the worst possible time, I would’ve been on the floor.“
As the TikTok video continues, the two New York shoe store employees try to get the Karen to tell them her name. However, it is no use as the woman has her heart set on leaving as fast as possible. Luckily, the crime was caught on camera, and the employees were able to get the woman’s license plate number as well.
Hopefully, this New York woman was brought to justice following her childish actions. While what caused her to crash out is unknown, it is never okay to act like this, especially in public. It would seem like Karen may need to work on her anger issues before attempting to be in public again, though.
