When going to any kind of eating establishment, the expectation is that the employees as well as the surface will be sanitary. However, that was not the case at this Pennsylvania restaurant, as two women were very upset regarding what they discovered going on behind the counter. A recent TikTok video with around 900K likes and 8.1 million views shows an employee rubbing her feet before preparing food for customers.
The TikTok begins with the two women already inside the establishment, which appears to be some kind of pizza shop. However, behind the counter, viewers can see the employee in charge of making the food with one of her shoes and socks off as she rubs in between her toes. One of the Pennsylvania women in the video can then be heard asking, “Should we leave?” The worker seems not to care that they have customers either, as she is even on her phone. They might not even be aware that they have been caught red-handed. The TikTok video then zooms in to get a better look for the social media users.
TikTok Reacts To Gross Pennsylvania Restaurant Encounter
The TikTok comment section had a lot to say regarding this gross situation. Many users would flood the comment section and leave their own thoughts on the matter. “Please report to your local health department,” wrote one concerned user. “Your pizza should be done in about 30 minutes,” joked another. One other read, “No wonder Domino’s pizza is so cheesy.” Finally, one commenter stated, “Should we leave? Expeditiously!” It would seem just about everyone is as grossed out as the two Pennsylvania women in the TikTok video.
Working in the service industry can be a stressful and demanding job, and maybe this young woman had a very long shift. However, it is probably not the best idea to rub your feet at the workplace. Especially when everyone can see you doing it. While preparing any kind of meal, it is very important to remain as clean as possible. Hopefully, this employee has learned from this and won’t do it again.
