News of a new viral TikTok is making the rounds after a New York woman claimed she was left heartbroken and humiliated by the Etsy witch she paid to cast a spell on the man of her dreams.
New York TikToker, @andtheg4gis, took to the social media platform to share a devastating experience she claims she recently underwent. Actress and entertainer Corinne Ferrer, who, she is also known as. She claims that she recently placed an Etsy order with a self-described white witch for a love spell she planned to cast on the man of her desire in hopes of giving her love life a little added nudge.
However, the Etsy white witch had other plans. Ferrer took to TikTok to share her horrific experience. In tears, she describes how the alleged witch used all the personal information received for the love connection to reach out and warn the man about what was about to happen.
“I bought a love spell, and I literally, like, I said the guy’s name and his birthday and stuff,” the TikToker continued, “and she literally DM’d him on Instagram and exposed me. She sent him screenshots of everything I sent,” she said as tears streamed down her face.
According to the NYC TikToker, the alleged witch sent an ominous message to her crush, revealing “Someone cast a love spell on you.” Naturally, the TikToker was horrified and humiliated to say the least.
When Your Witch Becomes A Snitch For One New York Woman
The viral video quickly racked up more than 2 million with viewers offering up everything from witchy advice, jokes, and even some revenge ideas. Some viewers were screaming “WITCH VIOLATION!” while others took the seller’s side, saying the guy had a right to know someone was trying to magically manifest him into a relationship.
It is worth noting that Corrine Ferrer’s TikTok and Instagram accounts note that not only is she an actress/entertainer, but she also notes that she ‘Loves Pranks.’ Coincidentally, she also leaves out the name of the alleged witch, which also raises eyebrows.
This also leads many to question whether the poster really experienced the Etsy witch betrayal. Or if the New York Actress is allegedly pulling a fast one, gaining what appears to be her first viral video. Either way, food for thought.
Online Witchcraft Brings In Big Bucks
According to Fast Company, love spells can bring in big business in the witchy corners of TikTok and Etsy. The sites list thousands of listings, with prices ranging anywhere from $0.78 to over $5,000. Whether you’re looking for a casual “text me back” boost or a full-blown soulmate summoning, there’s a spell for that.
“Girl, tell another Etsy witch about her and have it handled, suggests one follower. “This is just wrong on so many levels.”
“Well, it’s also not cool to put a love spell on an unsuspecting person,” states another. If you can’t trust your spell dealer, who can you trust?”
If this is true, then is there a moral to the story. Be warned if you’re going to try and magically nudge your way into someone’s heart. Maybe don’t leave a paper trail. And read the reviews next time you hire an Etsy witch. If it is not true, congrats to the poster for pulling off what appears to be your first viral prank.
