Traffic stops are a routine part of every police officer’s job. However, that doesn’t mean that they always go as planned. Sometimes things can get a little chaotic, to say the least. Take this recently posted TikTok video for a prime example. The clip posted by the account @st4rsjae has around 200K likes as well as two million views, with it showing a Michigan man making a grand escape from a would-be arrest. Viewers seemingly can’t get enough of the viral video as it continues to reach more and more social users every day.
Sadly, the TikTok would begin with the action already underway. Although with that being said, the person recording does get most of the drama on-camera. Yet, despite that, there is just not a ton of context to the situation. However, as the video goes on, a group of people can be seen stopped by a law enforcement officer, and one of them is even being placed under arrest. However, the Michigan man seemed to have other plans, as he broke free from the officer’s grasp and made a break for it. The clip’s caption then hilariously states, “Lil dude is gone,” and they hit the nail on the head, as the man sprints down the road, with the officer not even trying to pursue.
TikTok Reacts To Michigan Man’s Grand Escape
Unsurprisingly enough, the TikTok comment section had a lot to say about this, as many viewers would flock to the video in order to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the matter. “His form is horrible, but he got some pretty good speed,” pointed out one. Another laughed as they wrote, “Bro was out of there.” A different person also stated, “Yo! That is my homeboy Landon!“
“I know that ain’t my dog, Landon,” joked one more. Someone else then asked. “Why does everyone know this dude?” another user would then chime in with, “Landon! Bro! I haven’t heard from lil dude in ages.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Bro skedaddled out of there in a hurry.”
As the TikTok video comes to an end, the Michigan man can be seen running off into the sunset and into freedom. However, he most likely wasn’t free for too much longer following this, as the long arm of the law has a tendency to catch up to people pretty fast. Although despite that and despite what he was getting arrested for, that man made a choice and stuck with it, and even though it was a bad one, at least he followed through.
