Religion is very important to some people, and while everyone is entitled to their own opinions regarding that kind of stuff, most can agree that this recently posted TikTok video is quite comical. The clip has around 1.8 million likes to go along with 32 million views, as this Michigan man can be seen falling off the cross while at church on Easter Sunday. Social media users seemingly just can’t get enough of the action as the video continues to do well online.
The TikTok video starts off with the person recording sitting in the audience during their Easter Sunday church service. This is a fairly common practice for Christians, as the holiday does have religious meaning to them. However, on stage, multiple men can be seen attempting to recreate a scene from the bible. Yet, when they are carrying the Michigan man tied to the cross out, it would break, and the man comes crashing down to the ground. The church then erupts in laughter, and the video’s caption makes a hilarious point as it reads, “No way Unc just fell off the cross on Easter Sunday.”
TikTok Users Laugh Amid Michigan Church’s Easter Sunday Chaos
The TikTok comment section was rolling following this man’s entrance. Many viewers would rush in order to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the situation. “That person laughing behind, that would be me,” wrote one. Another joked, “Don’t let Druski see this.” A different viewer also stated, “They definitely glued it, not nailed it.” Finally, one last person’s comment read, “I think our sins were too heavy this time.”
As the TikTok video continues, the Michigan man dressed as Jesus Christ can be seen getting back up off the ground as he seems to be okay. Some people then begin to clap as the man takes a few steps around the stage, probably to make sure he is actually okay. However, for the most part, everyone is still giggling from the fall he had just taken.
At the end of the day, this was a pretty comical church service. However, the important part is that everyone seems to be okay, and there were no injuries from this stunt. The Holidays can bring out some wild ideas from those who celebrate. Yet, maybe next time they will build the cross a little sturdier, so nobody will fall and break their neck dressed as Jesus. All in all, though, this seemed like a pretty successful little skit.
