‘Lawsuit Incoming’: Pennsylvania Woman Says She Was ‘Violated By Racist Police Officer’ After Dropping Her Son Off

Social media is full of clips regarding encounters with law enforcement officers. However, not all of them are positive interactions. Sadly, most of them are negative, and this recently posted TikTok video with around 3K likes and 27K views is not much different. The clip shows an altercation between a Pennsylvania woman and a police officer who accuses her of breaking the law. Viewers are taking sides in this one as they apparently just can’t get enough of the drama. 

The TikTok video starts off with the woman already stopped by the police officer. However, she turned her camera on to record the encounter for her own safety. She then hands the officer her license and registration as the officer asks some basic questions. The woman stated that she was dropping her son off. However, the cop seems to believe that he saw them hand off some kind of package. Although the Pennsylvania woman laughs that off as she explains that it was only a coffee cup. The officer then asks the woman if she has anything illegal in her car. This prompts her to ask him if he “Wants to search” the vehicle. The cop then tells the woman, “If you want to let me search it.” 

TikTok Backs Pennsylvania Woman During Odd Traffic Stop

This, in turn, upset the woman as she felt “Offended” due to the man’s questions. She also asks in the video if this was “Because I’m black?” Although the officer denies knowing her race prior to making the stop due to her window tint. Yet, the TikTok comment section was ready to rock after this, as many would flood to the woman’s side. “Lawsuit incoming,” wrote one. “Stop answering him,” said another. One more stated, “This conversation went on way too long.” Finally, one other person’s comment read, “I hope you and your son are okay.” 

As the TikTok continues, the Pennsylvania woman also continues to give this cop the business. It even gets to a point where the woman is screaming very loudly at the officer. So much so that he even asks her why she is doing that. However, it seems clear that this woman is a little scared and pretty angry about being stopped by the police officer. 

At the end of the day, though, this was a pretty useless traffic stop, as nothing really came of it. However, the Pennsylvania woman also escalated the situation greatly. Hopefully, they were both able to get on their way after this, as it seems to be a simple misunderstanding on both ends.
