Sometimes, trying to find a parking spot can be really annoying. However, is it really worth getting out of your car and into some kind of altercation over? Well, if you ask this Florida woman, the answer is yes. A recently posted TikTok video with around 8K likes and 6802K views shows a woman dealing with a parking lot Karen after allegedly stealing her parking spot. Social media users are taking sides as things heat up.
Sadly, the TikTok starts off with the action already underway. Viewers can see an older woman as she stands outside the person recording’s car door. The woman inside the vehicle then rolls down the window as the elderly Florida woman says, “I had my turn signal on, why did you go in?” The woman recording then states it was because, “I’m going to go in the store.” However, the Karen then tells her, “So am I,” in a sarcastic tone. This was seemingly the final straw for the woman recording as she then tells her, “Well, I’ll see ya inside.”
TikTok Reacts To Florida Parking Space Dispute
The TikTok comment section erupted following this. Many users would rush to the clip in order to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the small altercation. “Braces at 90 is crazy,” joked one. Another pointed out, “Nah, she’s right. Don’t steal a spot if someone is waiting for it.” One more comment read, “I’m kind of on her side.” “If she had her turn signal on, why did you go?” asked another. Finally, one last person stated that the woman recording had the “Perfect comeback.”
As the TikTok video continues, the elderly Florida woman would storm off. However, she would, of course, get the last word in by throwing some vulgar language around at the woman recording. The video’s caption also reads, “It finally happened to me! Yikes! Got to watch out for the angry parking spot granny!”
At the end of the day, the Florida woman probably shouldn’t have taken the spot from the elderly woman. Although at the same time, the older woman shouldn’t have left her car to confront her either. Hopefully, they both learned a lesson from this encounter and can be more prepared to handle a situation like this in the future. It’s completely free to be nice to one another, and maybe some more people need to try harder to remember that very simple fact.
