The service industry is a very important and necessary workforce. However, with that being said, there are countless videos online depicting that job path as a warzone. Well, this recently posted TikTok video, while a little calmer than most, is still no different. The clip has around 91K likes and 1.5 million views as viewers watch a Florida man allegedly send his steak back five different times, while eating inside a Texas Roadhouse establishment.
The TikTok starts off with the person recording focused on a man sitting across the aisle from them, in his own booth. As the person records, the man can be seen cutting into his steak very aggressively. The text that appears on screen then reads, “This person sent their steak back five times at Texas Roadhouse, and each time they brought out a new steak.” While this is happening, the other people at the man’s table are just trying to enjoy their meal, and the same goes for the people sitting with the person recording. Then, suddenly, the person sitting beside the Florida man turns on their phone flashlight to show the waitress what the inside of his steak looks like.

The TikTok comment section was ready to go following this. Many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts on the situation, as some had a few choice words. “After the third time, it’s time for a manager to say they’re sorry they won’t be able to meet the request, they can pick another item or leave,” wrote one. “That poor server,” said another. One other person pointed out, “Five times is not a steak problem, it’s a problematic customer.” Finally, one last comment read, “You’re at Texas Roadhouse, not some high-end steakhouse.”
As the TikTok video continues, the Florida man seemingly demands that the waitress take his steak back for what appears to be a sixth time. The woman then picks up the plate and walks back to the kitchen. At this point, it’s hard to imagine a world where the chef is happy with this customer.
Sadly, the TikTok would come to an end following the waitress taking the Florida man’s plate yet again. While it is unknown if this is actually the sixth time or not, more than once is still too many times. Hopefully, the man wasn’t being rude to the employees as they seemed to handle the situation well. Yet, at the end of the day, this man could have just ordered something else.
