Humans have been going outside to enjoy the great outdoors for as long as anyone can remember. However, while doing so, it’s very important to remember to respect nature and all of its creatures. However, sadly, not a lot of humans actually do that. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 260K likes and 2.1 million views as these two Florida men get into a heated altercation. The incident stems from one of the men allegedly letting his child abuse a wild animal for no reason.
Unfortunately, the TikTok video starts off with the action already underway, as the man in the video also has his phone out, recording the man who confronted him and his son. He then states, “I don’t appreciate you threatening us with violence, sir.” The Florida man, off-camera, then explains to the father that his child had hooked a bird with his fishing set-up, on purpose. Yet, the kid’s dad tried to say, “The bird was going to attack him,” which doesn’t seem true. The person recording then points the phone towards the man and the bird, as viewers can see the hook still in the animal.
TikTok Reacts To Horrible Florida Father
Unsurprisingly, the TikTok comment section had a lot to say about this, as many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the matter at hand. “Pelicans are incredibly delicate and easy to redirect even if it were to attack unprovoked, so there is never, under ANY circumstance, a reason to put a sabiki-rig in one,” wrote an angry viewer. Another pointed out, “He kind of looks like Doug, the cartoon character.” Somebody else stated, “You’re a hero,” in regard to saving the bird. Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Your vocabulary is amazing.“
As the clip goes on, the Florida father attempts to lie his way out of the situation. However, the other man and his wife are just not having any of it. They continue to argue with this guy for some time, as the man attempts to get the hook out of the bird. The bad dad also tried to claim he would have gotten the hook out himself, which also doesn’t appear to be true.
The TikTok would come to an end following this, though. However, the caption claims that the Florida man was, in fact, able to remove the hook from the bird. Hopefully, the animal wasn’t too injured and was able to fly off following this altercation. At the end of the day, this was some terrible parenting, and this father clearly has zero respect for nature.
