The roadways are not for the faint of heart, especially in the United States. There are countless clips on almost every social media app showing road rage encounters. While many of them take place inside a vehicle or at a safer location, this recently posted TikTok video is a little different. The clip has around 20K likes and 130K views as these two Tennessee men get into a heated exchange in the middle of a busy street.
Unfortunately, the TikTok does not show what happens before the two step out of their vehicles. However, it does begin with the man recording himself walking up to the other driver’s car as they have both come to a stop in the middle of the road. The Tennessee man then gets the car’s license plate number before the elderly man steps out. As he gets out, he is imminently angry as he stomps up to the man recording and yells, “Let me tell you something stupid. I have been driving a tractor and trailer for over 50 years! That was stupid!” referring to something that allegedly happened off-camera.

The TikTok comment section also had a lot to say about this encounter. Many would rush to the video in order to leave behind their own thoughts. “If he was driving semis for over 50 years, wouldn’t a fellow trucker have the courtesy to let another trucker pass by or merge in?” asked one. “They love to waste people’s time by calling the police,” wrote one more. Finally, one last commenter pointed out, “They are always so mad.”
As the TikTok video continues, the two Tennessee men go on arguing about who was doing what and who was in the wrong. Although while this is going on, another driver has stopped on the roadway and approached the two men. A woman then pops up on screen as she asks if she can be heard asking if anyone needs her to call the police.
Although when the elderly Tennessee man says that he would like them to be called, the woman agrees. However, she then tells the man to stop yelling at the person recording. This prompts the man to say, “Don’t talk to me like that.” Finally, the man recording says that he just wants to leave. The TikTok then comes to an end with all three of them getting back into their cars, and hopefully, heading their separate ways. This was a useless crash-out and could have been easily avoided.
