“Days of Our Lives” fans have been watching Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) be put through the wringer as of late. The beloved character was tense during her entire pregnancy, and when she was forced to give birth after a car accident, things went from bad to worse. Nicole’s baby boy was taken from her, and she was told that the child had passed away. However, that wasn’t the case at all. Now, Nicole’s situation may become even more dire.
Days of Our Lives baby swap drama reaches new levels
According to the latest “Days of Our Lives” spoilers, there’s a chance that Nicole may be headed to Bayview Sanitarium. Bayview is a mental hospital where several Salemites have spent time. Characters such as Ben Weston, Abigail Deveraux DiMera, Marlena Evans Black, Ava Vitali, Harris Michaels, Claire Brady, and others have all resided there at one time. However, Nicole may be thrown into the institution because of her belief that her son is still alive.
Viewers know that Nicole’s son is alive and well. In fact, he’s living with Eric Brady and Sloan Petersen as their adopted son. Once Nicole laid eyes on the little boy, she knew he belonged to her. She even insisted that a DNA test be performed to confirm it. However, Sloan has been going to great lengths to ensure that her baby-swapping secret stays under wraps. She’ll likely continue her antics and make Nicole believe that the DNA test came back as a no-match.
Will Nicole be locked away in Bayview?
Nicole’s desperate need to prove that Eric and Sloan’s child is her biological son could lead to bigger problems for her. If she can’t seem to wrap her head around the death of her child, she may be forced into Bayview in order to receive treatment. This would be the best-case scenario for Sloan, who is looking to keep Nicole as far away from Eric and their adopted son as possible.
However, it seems that it’s only a matter of time before Nicole and everyone else learns the truth. Not only will it be revealed that baby Jude is Nicole’s child, but the little boy’s biological father will also be uncovered. While everyone will believe EJ DiMera is the dad, Sloan knows that Eric actually fathered the little boy.
Secrets never stay buried for long in Salem. Once Nicole and Eric learn the truth about their son, things will likely change greatly for the duo. “Days of Our Lives” fans are expecting a romantic reuion between the pair around the first of the year.
