With the weather getting warmer and summer right around the corner, kids are going to start playing outside again. Now, with that being said, there are a lot worse things a child could do than use some chalk to draw a picture on a sidewalk. However, not in this woman’s book, apparently, as this recently posted TikTok video shows this Texas woman taking a garden hose to a child’s chalk drawings, for seemingly no reason at all. The clip has around 5K likes and 171K views as it continues to reach more viewers.
Sadly, the TikTok video begins with little to no context as to what’s going on. However, viewers can see this woman walking down the sidewalk of her apartment complex with a hose. As she does this, the water is coming out at full blast as she washes away everything this child had worked so hard to draw and color. The text on the screen then confirms that the angry Texas woman was actually these people’s neighbor. She can also be heard mumbling odd things as she works. This has led many to believe the woman is under the influence of some kind of substance.
TikTok Chimes In Amid Texas Karen Chaos
The TikTok comment section had a lot to say following this woman’s actions, as many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the matter. “Is she under the influence? Something is off about her mumbling and indiscriminate cruelty towards children.” Another asked, “So you’re allowing your children to be bullied and you stand by and record and do nothing?” One more person then pointed out, “Too many people haven’t been punched in the mouth.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Sometimes being violent is the answer, especially when it comes to our kids.”
As the TikTok video continues, the Texas chalk Karen goes on with her watery rampage as the mother of the child records and asks her not to get their chalk wet. The kid can then be heard crying due to the mean woman destroying their artwork. The woman then goes up and down the sidewalk in order to get every drawing and remnant of chalk around.
Unfortunately, the TikTok video would come to an end following this, as the Texas chalk Karen can be heard yelling at the woman recording. She tells her to leave her alone, although it was she who went up to the mother and child to bother them. At the end of the day, this was just not okay behavior from this woman. Hopefully, this kid is able to go play somewhere else and not be bothered again.
