Across the countless social media platforms on the internet, some of the most popular viral videos take place inside some kind of restaurant or store. It seems as though working in the retail or service industry is truly nightmarish as unruly customers, coworkers, and pretty much everything else try to uproot these employees’ days. With that being said, this recently posted TikTok video is slightly different. The clip has around 1.6 million likes and 8.2 million views as a person stole a Texas McDonald’s drive-thru headset.
The TikTok video starts off with the woman recording herself driving up to the speaker to order her McDonald’s meal. However, right away, the employee taking the orders warns the woman that someone had recently stolen one of their headsets, and it’s “Trolling,” them. The thief can then be heard over the speaker as they yell “What do you want to eat?” in a raspy voice. The Texas woman then begins laughing as she attempts to order her food, as this is quite a comical situation. The employee can finally be heard saying, “Don’t listen to them, ma’am,” as he is clearly fed up with this situation. Who knows how long this guy has had to deal with this nonsense?

The TikTok comment section seemingly found this situation extremely funny, though. Countless users would flock to the video in order to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the funny fast food encounter. “The funniest part is he’s gotta be close by,” pointed out one. “Plot twist: it’s just him and his alter ego,” wrote one more. Someone else also stated, “Big arch isn’t even good, took me out!” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Why does this type of stuff never happen to me?“
As the TikTok video continues, the Texas woman attempts to get through her order without dying of laughter. The person who stole the headset also goes on with the boke throughout the entirety of the video, as they even poke fun at what the woman is ordering to eat. Yet, the McDonald’s employee is not having as good of a time as everyone else, as he is just trying to do his job.
With the TikTok coming to an end, the Texas woman wraps up her order as she can be heard saying, “Thank you, both of you,” before pulling forward to the next window. At the end of the day, this woman got through her order with a little extra, and she now has a fantastic story to tell.
