Big Brother 28 Week 9 Eviction Sees Utah Icon Go Home And Fans Divided: ‘Makes No Sense’

Big Brother 28 is heating up yet again. Week 9 marked a historic turning point in the season — for the first time all year, all three of the Icons, Angela, Devens, and Dee, found themselves on the block together at the same time. After Yash won veto and chose not to use it, it was clear that one of the reality TV fan favorites would be packing their bags and heading for the jury house, and that person was none other than Utah mother and grandmother, Angela Murray.

This came as a shock to many Big Brother fans, as it seemed clear that either Devens or Dee would be headed home following a Blockbuster competition. However, after Devens won his second straight Blockbuster competition to save himself, the choice came down to Dee and Angela.

Dee needed three votes to stay in the house, and she got them from Devens, Yash, and Taylor, resulting in a 3-2 vote that sent Angela home. Thanks to her campaigning all week long, Dee promised Yash and Taylor that she would ride with them to the end if they voted to keep her in the house.

Dee also promised to target the close friend group of Barrett, Drew, and Melody. Of course, fans were divided about the vote. Many thought that the houseguests missed a chance to take a shot at Dee, while others were thrilled that things were shaking up a bit.

Big Brother Fans Are Divided Over The Eviction

“What happened tonight makes no sense,” one fan wrote via Facebook. “Yash was smart to keep Dee,” said another. “Props to Dee for surviving that,” a third person weighed in. “Barrett’s HOH was wasted,” a fourth comment read.

It appears that the dynamics are about to change in the Big Brother house yet again, as Devens and Dee remain a duo, Dee now has a new alliance with Taylor and Yash, and Drew and Devens have become very close.

The coming weeks, and the Week 10 HOH are sure to be full of drama, tension, and a lot of fun for fans. Meanwhile, Angela heads to the jury house to join Latrice, becoming the 10th houseguest evicted and second member of the jury, before she can go home to Utah and reunite with her family.

As for her jury vote, if Dee or Devens can make it to the end of the game, they can likely rely on Angela’s vote. However, Yash and Barrett may not get a vote from the Big Brother vet if they land in the final two.
