Social media, as well as the rest of the internet, has countless clips of pretty much everything imaginable. Viewers go nuts for these viral videos and can’t wait to get their hands on the next big hit. However, this recently posted TikTok video, while pretty hilarious, is also pretty unfortunate. The clip has around 160K likes as well as two million views and counting, with it showing a California couple mistakenly cutting off a funeral procession while driving.
The TikTok video starts off with the woman recording the man as he drives. Viewers can then see that the vehicle in front of them is, in fact, a hearse. The man driving the car can then be heard yelling, “Oh no!” as the realization finally starts to sink in. The video’s caption then gives a little more context to the situation as it reads, “We weren’t paying attention & cut off the entire family bus, on the way to the cemetery. We’re so sorry! Rest in peace.” The camera then pans over to the California man as he continues his embarrassed screams.
TikTok Reacts To California Couple Roadway Mishap
The TikTok comment section had so much to say regarding this mistake, as many would flood the video in order to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions on the matter. “Oh my gosh, this is hilarious, and right by my house!” wrote one. Another stated, “I did this one time too, and I felt like complete crap after.” Another user then asked, “Shouldn’t they have a little flag on all the cars?” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “It’s still disrespectful to the dead and like typically the primary family is right behind it.” It would seem as though most viewers find it pretty funny, while some are a little annoyed by the couple’s mistake.
As the TikTok video continues, the California couple apologizes to the camera multiple times and hopes they can find a way to get away from the funeral. However, the man also asks if she should just “Pull over.” Although luckily, the car in front of them then puts on its turn signal, as the couple is free to just keep going straight, as the rest of the funeral attendees will follow the lead vehicle.
At the end of the day, this California couple made a mistake. However, it doesn’t seem as though it was on purpose, and they seemingly felt bad about the incident as well. Hopefully, they learned a lot from this experience, and next time they will be more prepared and alert to the situation at hand.
