Ben Affleck admits that he is officially back on the market and ready to embrace his new title as ‘Most Eligible Bachelor. After months of sulking around following his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, The Batman star is up for romance.
The Hollywood A-lister, 52, was spotted by TMZ reporters while dining at West Hollywood’s Lavo Ristorante on Thursday, May 8. When asked in Spanish how “Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor” was doing, Ben casually smiled and responded, “Muy bien.”
The paparazzi weren’t letting Ben off the hook so fast and asked if he still liked Latinas. Ben Affleck gave a shy smile and nod to his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, stating, “Of course I do.” Ben is looking forward to dating, according to recent reports, despite his and JLo’s recent divorce drama.
The former couple’s divorce was finalized in January 2025, breaking fans. After months of silence, Ben recently opened up to GQ, revealing there was no dramatic reason behind the split it was just life. “No scandal, no soap opera,” he said. “The truth is much more every day than people would believe.”
JLo And Ben Affleck Focus On Healing And Moving On
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s divorce was not easy on either of them. However, after months of bad blood, the two have come together and promised to remain friends. While Ben seems to be embracing bachelorhood, J. Lo is focused on healing. Lopez recently shared how she broke the news to her twins, Emme and Max, 17, and promised they’d all come out stronger. “They feel it now. That gives me a great sense of peace,” she said.
Lopez also praised herself for navigating the tough transition. “I’m happier… I’m proud of myself,” she added, noting it’s time to “go out there and dance and sing and have a good time.”
“Ben Affleck is making it clear to JLo he is over her. In fact, he was pretty blunt about it. So there is that. Hopefully, JLo gets the message,” one fan states.
Meanwhile, Ben might just be doing the same with a soft launch to all available females that Bachelor Ben is back. It will be an interesting summer for Ben Affleck as he places his focus on his family, career, while stepping back out into the world of dating.
