“Yellowstone” is one of the best dramas on television. The series, which streams on the Paramount App, has everything that fans would want in a show. There are intense romances like that of Beth and Rip and Kaycee and Monica, as well as family drama, criminal activity, heartbreaking stories, and characters that viewers can fall in love with, admire, and hate.
It’s not hard to find a “Yellowstone” fan, as there are so many of them in the world. Of course, most of them would be happy to tell you their opinions about the series and reveal their favorite characters. While characters like Beth, John, Kaycee, Jimmy, and others are fan favorites on the show, the most popular character is arguably Rip Wheeler, played by actor Cole Hauser.
Rip is arguably the most beloved character on Yellowstone
Viewers have taken a strong liking to Rip, a character with a heartbreaking past, stiff upper lip, strong work ethic, and long-lasting love for Beth Dutton, her family, and their Montana ranch. As “Yellowstone” Season 5 draws near, fans can’t help but wonder what will happen and if any of their favorite characters may be in danger.
Recently, “Yellowstone” fans were treated to a post honoring Rip. “Celebrating Rip Wheeler today and always,” the caption read, adding “PS: Get ready, #YellowstoneTV fans. Something big is coming.” The post sent shockwaves and curiosity through viewers, who began to speculate that the death of a beloved character may be depicted during Season 5. Of course, because the post was about Rip, rumors about the character’s possible death began to flow online and fans declared their love for the cowboy, who is often dressed in black, per The Hollywood Gossip.
Fans are worried about Rip’s fate
“Idc what happens in this next season just DO NOT take rip away from Beth!” one fan wrote. “Better not kill him off,” another said. If anything kills off Beth and Rip. I’m done watching the show myself. I look forward to them every season. It would NEVER be the same without them. wouldn’t be worth continuing to watch for me honestly,” a third viewer commented.
As “Yellowstone” continues to rage on and be one of the most popular shows on television, fans grow increasingly worried about the future of characters like Beth and Rip, as they would hate to have to say goodbye to either member of the couple, or any of the other Dutton family members.
