Working in the service industry can be extremely stressful, and there are plenty of clips on social media depicting that exact thing. Well, that is also the case at this Georgia McDonald’s as the manager had to lay down the law amid a rowdy dinner rush. A recently posted TikTok video shows the whole ordeal as social media users take sides. The video has around 50K likes and 275K views as it continues to ascend into viral status.

The TikTok starts with the action already underway as the manager of this McDonald’s has seemingly had enough. Unfortunately, the beginning of the altercation has been missed as the camera person did not record that part. However, it seems as though the customers are not happy with the service they are receiving, and are being rude directly to a staff member.

We’re not going to do that,” he can be heard telling the people in the eating establishment. The Georgia man continues to explain that he cannot “Ban” someone from the restaurant, but he can ask them to leave. He also states that the vulgar language must stop, as do the verbal assaults on his staff members. He then asks a customer to leave as the employee follows behind their manager with a satisfied smile.

TikTok Supports Angry Georgia McDonald’s Manager

The TikTok comment section was all fired up following this display of management, as any would leave their own opinions behind. “This is how you manage,” wrote one. “You see how confident he made his employee?” asked another. One user pointed out, “That’s a good manager. People are very rude to customer service workers.” Finally, one comment read, “Ion even know what happened, but I’m on his side!” It would seem as though most, if not all, of the comments are in support of the McDonald’s manager, and rightfully so.

Service industry workers are a different breed of employee, and should be treated with more respect and kindness. Not only because that would be the right thing to do, but also because you never want to upset the person who prepares the food you eat. Hopefully, everyone inside the Georgia McDonald’s took that man’s message to heart, and next time, wait a little more patiently. As for the employee seen in the TikTok, hopefully, she won’t have to deal with that level of rudeness again anytime soon.
