Being a parent can be a very stressful, yet rewarding, job from time to time. Now, with that being said, sometimes the parents cause their own stress with the choices they make. Take this recently posted TikTok video for a perfect example. The clip has around three million likes and 56.2 million views as this Virginia child throws her mother’s debit card into a wishing well. Social media users seemingly can’t get enough of the video as it continues to go viral.
Sadly, viewers do not get a ton of context or even build up to the moment. However, in the TikTok video, social media users can see a large pool filled with water as the family stands on a platform above the pool. In the water, countless coins and even dollar bills can be seen floating and sinking to the bottom as others have made wishes here as well. The clip’s caption then reads, “I thought I did something with a coin and a dollar. Palmer humbled me real quick.” It’s then that the young Virginia child can be seen tossing something of her own into the pool, and while it is money in a way, it also happened to be her mother’s debit card.
TikTok Reacts To Virginia Mothers Laps In Judgment
The TikTok comment section had a lot of thoughts about this after seeing the card fly into the pool. Many would rush to leave behind their own jokes and opinions regarding the matter. “Why does she have your debit card?” asked one. Another joked, “I love these birth control ads.” Somebody else also asked, “Why was a debit card in the hands of a toddler in the first place?” Finally, one last person also pointed out, “She’s not sorry.”
As the TikTok video continues, the girl’s mother can be heard freaking out over the fact that her child just threw her debit card into a wishing well. However, as many users felt after watching this video, it is most certainly the mother’s fault. Despite the fact that it was the child who actually threw the item, the mother allowing a toddler to hold her debit card anywhere is a recipe for disaster.
Sadly, the clip would come to an end following this, as the young Virginia girl can be heard telling her mother how sorry she is. At the end of the day, kids just do not know any better, and that’s why the parents need to make smarter decisions. Hopefully, this woman was able to get her card back, or at least a new one in an orderly fashion, at least.
