“Vanderpump Rules” star Tom Sandoval has been through the wringer in his personal life over the past year. The reality star took heat from friends and fans when it was revealed that he cheated on his longtime love, Ariana Madix, with their friend and co-star Raquel Leviss. However, Sandoval is now admitting that he was completely in love with Leviss and that he had hoped to continue their relationship after the drama unfolded.
Tom Sandoval confesses his love for Raquel Leviss
During an appearance on the “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast, Tom Sandoval opened up about his feelings for Raquel Leviss. The “Masked Singer” contestant admitted that he fell hard for Leviss and he wanted to fight to have a relationship for her following “Scandoval” and his split with Ariana Madix.
“I stopped drinking. I stopped smoking cigarettes because she went away to a facility. I’m like, ‘She can’t drink, she can’t smoke. I’m gonna quit,'” he stated, referring to Leviss seeking mental health treatment following the scandal. “I was there in any way that she needed. We were best friends.”
Sandoval went on to admit that he was in love with Leviss. However, she didn’t want to enter a romantic relationship with him after the way everything played out.
“I was fully in love with her. She’s not just some hot girl,” he said. “I was a model for 15 years, it’s deeper than that.”

Fans will see more of Tom Sandoval and the fallout of the breakup between he and Ariana Madix when “Vanderpump Rules” returns for Season 11 in January 2024. However, Raquel Leviss won’t be making any appearances on the show, as she opted not to return following the scandal.
Meanwhile, Sandoval has been open about how much he struggled while filming Season 11 of the reality series. He also admitted to getting emotional about the group dynamics during the intense drama.
“[Filming season 11] was awful for me. It was absolutely horrible. I have seen other castmates — and I’ve always tried to be there for them — be pushed out of the group,” Sandoval said on the “30, Flirty, and Flying” podcast. “I always had sympathy and I always looked out for those people. But to actually be that person was a whole different story. It was very depressing.”
Ariana Madix thinks fans may side with Tom Sandoval in Season 11
For her part, Madix says that Season 11 may have fans seeing things in a different light. Instead of siding solely with her, she revealed that she could easily see viewers feeling sympathy for Sandoval as the season plays out.
Time will tell if Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss will be able to get their relationship back in order. Until then, fans will be watching to see how the situation unfolds.
