‘Today’s Economy’: Florida Resident Attempts To Move Mattress, Drops Jaws During Highway Fail

The internet has all kinds of different videos spread out across the multiple social media platforms. From viral Karen encounters, all the way to intense road rage standoffs, there is something for everyone. Now, with that being said, this recently posted TikTok video doesn’t have any screaming Karens, or angry drivers. However, what it does have is around 17K likes and 833K views as this Florida driver loses their mattress mid-transport on a busy highway. 

Unfortunately, the TikTok video is rather short, and there isn’t too much context behind the clip either. Yet, as the video starts off, viewers can see a rusty and rough-looking car speeding down a Florida highway. However, despite all the rust, there is something else that makes this car very strange as it rides along, and that would be the giant mattress that is poorly strapped on top of the moving vehicle. The object can be seen halfway hanging off of the car as some of the mattress even scrapes the road as the Florida driver goes on down the road.

TikTok Laughs Amid Florida Driver’s Bad Luck

The TikTok comment section was rolling following this site, though. Many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the matter at hand. “Poor guy just wanted to get it home and have a great night’s sleep,” wrote one. Another joked, “I know there’s a Trump sticker on that car.” Somebody else also stated, “Yep, it happens all the time!” A separate commenter then pointed out, “I would sleep on the floor before that mattress.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “I need a shower after watching that.” 

As the TikTok video continues, the Florida driver’s luck is about to take a turn for the worse as their front passenger’s side tire can be seen exploding in a fiery blaze. This causes the driver to swerve and the mattress to finally come crashing all the way to the ground. The vehicle then comes screeching to a stop, as does the car behind them.

The video would then come to an end, following this, as the situation is gonna be such a nightmare to handle. The tire blowing up and losing the mattress was bad enough, but this person broke down in the middle of a busy Florida highway; that’s just horrible luck. Hopefully, nobody was harmed by this, and the situation was handled in a calm and orderly fashion.
