Graduation season can be a very stressful time for a lot of families. However, with that being said, it is still important to keep your composure, especially in public. Yet, some people have a hard time doing that, it would seem. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 6K likes and 9K views as a younger Texas woman gets into a heated altercation with an older woman over arena seating.
The TikTok video begins with the person recording sitting a few rows back from the action. However, they still have a great view of the altercation. Viewers can then see the young Texas woman walking up the arena stairs to find a place to sit. However, the people behind them are saying that the seats are already taken, and that the young woman can not save other people’s seats. This really sets the young woman off, though, as she begins to yell about how her aunt is coming with her service dog, and that she will watch her brother graduate.
TikTok Reacts To Texas Graduation Altercation
The TikTok comment section also had some thoughts regarding this strange altercation. The video’s caption reads, “It’s graduation season in Texas!” It also points out that this is an “Argument over seating at Dickies Arena.” One viewer then pointed out, “Seems like the arena is pretty empty.” Another stated, “To be arguing over such petty crap is annoying.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Are we okay?” It would seem as though that most users do not condone such behavior, and rightfully so.
As the TikTok continues, though, the young Texas woman goes on about how “My aunt will watch my brother graduate!” At this point, the group that the young lady is with starts to get involved as well. This then prompts the woman who was getting yelled at to repeatedly ask, “Where is the usher?”
Sadly, the TikTok video would come to an end following this, as there is no real conclusion to this altercation between these two Texas women. At the end of the day, they were both there to watch a loved one graduate, and they probably could have made something work if they remained calm. Hopefully, they both learned a lot from this encounter, and are better next time. Anger is usually never the right choice in these situations, and this video may only further prove that point.
