In today’s day and age, many should just assume there is a camera everywhere. Whether that’s a phone, a CCTV, or a Ring Doorbell camera, something is probably keeping an eye out. Well, luckily for this Texas man, his security camera picked up a hilarious sight as shown in a recently posted TikTok video. The clip has around 53K likes and 288K views as social media reacts to this man’s lawnmower being stolen by his neighbor in a wheelchair.
The TikTok video starts off with the security footage of the homeowner’s driveway. However, that clip’s caption reads, “Just a normal day in Beaumont, Texas, when a guy who can’t walk decides he needs to steal your push lawnmower.” Yet, this was not exaggerated at all. The video clearly shows a man in a motorized wheelchair backing up the homeowner’s driveway as he reaches his hand out to grab the mower’s handle. The man in the video is also looking towards the home, most likely to make sure nobody is around. He would then grab the mower and begin to wheel it back to his house.
TikTok Roasts Texas Lawnmower Thief
The TikTok comment section was rolling with laughter following this crazy heist. Many would then leave jokes as well as other opinions behind. “He escaped going 5 mph,” one joked. “Not a handicap heist,” said one more. “So did you get it back?” a user wanted to know. “But why did he back in to get it?” pointed out one other commenter. It would seem as though TikTok users are just as confused and amused as the homeowner regarding this man stealing the push lawnmower.
As the TikTok continues, the Texas man can be heard talking through the security camera as he was not home at the time of the robbery. “Can I help you?” he can be heard saying. Although the man in the chair would begin to move a little faster following this. After a few moments of the homeowner yelling through the camera, the man in the chair would continue to roll on back to his house, lawnmower in tow.
Unfortunately, the TikTok video would cut off shortly after the man in the wheelchair made his daring getaway. Home security cameras have caught some wild stuff on video. However, this was one of the more comical ones. Hopefully, this Texas man was able to get his lawnmower back, and the man who stole it learned his lesson.
