Snooty New York Woman Questions DoorDash Driver About Personal Life After Claiming She’s ‘Allowed To Judge’ Because She’s ‘Christian’

New York may be famous for its big personalities, but one local woman managed to grab attention for all the wrong reasons after she decided to judge her DoorDash driver’s relationship choices during a routine delivery. The encounter, posted on TikTok, has sparked plenty of debate across the internet, especially among those who are used to blunt attitudes but still weren’t prepared for this level of unsolicited commentary.

The video comes from TikToker Juustjewel, also known as Michelle, who recorded a quick conversation with her regular DoorDash driver as she arrived with Michelle’s order. In true New York fashion, Michelle greets her with a dramatic opener: “This will be the last time you deliver here,” a line that sounds strangely ominous until she clarifies that she’s actually just moving.

The driver, taken off guard but still sweet as can be, reacts with total warmth and congratulates her on the exciting news. It’s the kind of wholesome moment you’d expect from a friendly neighborhood delivery drop-off. But because this is New York, the wholesome energy did not last long.

New York Woman Questions DoorDasher About Personal Life Because She’s Christian

As a married Christian woman I am allowed to judge that’s why I asked her was she shacking… please repent if you are living together unmarried. God bless

As the two continue chatting outside Michelle’s New York residence, the driver casually mentions that she recently moved too, this time with her boyfriend. Instead of celebrating another woman’s big life change, Michelle immediately shifts gears into something much more judgmental. She asks whether the couple is simply “shacking” or planning on making their living situation official with marriage. The driver confirms they do plan to tie the knot someday and even hopes to have kids.

That should’ve been the end of the small talk. But Michelle wasn’t done. Her TikTok caption reveals exactly how she felt about the driver’s living arrangement, and it’s even more eyebrow-raising than her tone in the video: “As a married Christian woman I am allowed to judge that’s why I asked her was she shacking… please repent if you are living together unmarried.”

Viewers immediately called out the woman, with many pointing out that New York is one of the most diverse, modern, mind-your-business states in the country. People move in together before marriage all the time. It’s not exactly breaking news. To a lot of users, Michelle inserting her religious beliefs into a simple DoorDash exchange felt invasive and wildly old-fashioned.

TikTok Isn’t Happy About The Tone Of The Video

Culturally, marriage no longer functions as the rigid prerequisite it once was. Many couples, especially younger generations, live together before getting engaged, and society generally accepts it as a practical step. But for Michelle, the concept seems more like a moral test, one she felt completely comfortable grading during a food delivery.

“I thought this was a sweet video until I saw the caption people are so fake,” one person wrote. “Where in the Bible does it say you can judge others for not having what you have? I don’t remember that part,” said another. “Mind your own business,” a third person chimed in.

The New York DoorDash driver remained gracious throughout, but TikTok had plenty to say about the judgment disguised as small talk. However, maybe next time, a simple “Thank you for the delivery” would go over a lot better.
