While dining at any kind of nicer restaurant, the expectation is that the bill will be a little bit pricier than a typical night out. However, it would seem as though not everyone got the memo regarding that fact. A recently posted TikTok video with around 260K likes and four million views shows an altercation between an elderly Florida woman and a restaurant employee after she refused to pay her bar tab. Social media users can’t get enough of the drama as this clip has officially reached viral status.
The TikTok begins with the employee walking up to the woman as he can be heard saying, “Hi Lourdes.” The video then has a slight cut to the woman explaining that she thinks her bill is way too “Overpriced.” However, the man recording assures her that that is the correct price. He then tells her, “If you’re not willing to pay, they’re gonna press charges for theft.” The Florida woman is also clearly very drunk at this point, and has no clue what is even happening as she asks the man, “Why?” Finally, the staff member explains that, “You can’t just drink all you want and walk away.” Shockingly, the woman’s response to this is just her saying, “No.“

The TikTok comment section seemingly found this hilarious, though. Many would flood the video with funny jokes, as well as some roasting the older woman for acting like this. “Come to think of it, my car was a little overpriced,” joked one. “$111 is so normal if you go out,” claimed another. One commenter pointed out, “These are the same people who will say the younger generations are too entitled.” Finally, one other person wanted to know, “When did we start being able to negotiate the bill at restaurants?” It would appear as though nobody is on this woman’s side, and rightfully so.
As the TikTok goes on, the woman then begins to babble on about some absolute nonsense. She can be heard asking for about one hundred dollars off her tab at one point as well. She can also be heard asking for a piece of paper to write something down on. Finally, she blurts out. “I live in Florida! President Trump says I have the right to write down what I want.“
At this point, the staff members have had enough as the man goes to find security. Sadly, the TikTok video would then come to an end following this. Although the caption states that the Florida woman was later arrested for a DUI that same night. At the end of the day, justice was served. However, not soon enough, as this MAGA woman put many lives in danger by driving drunk.
