Oregon ‘Schitts Creek Wannabes’ Aggressively Attack Teenager In Cringy Video: ‘They Are So Chopped’

What started as a neighborhood basketball setup in one Oregon suburb somehow spiraled into one of the internet’s weirdest viral arguments, complete with accusations of entitlement, nonstop arguing, and a young man repeatedly saying “ew” until two adults completely lost their patience.

Because apparently, that’s where society is right now. The now-viral confrontation took place in Portland, Oregon, after a young man parked his car along a public street near a couple’s home. Under normal circumstances, that probably wouldn’t turn into internet content with thousands of comments dissecting every second. But according to social media, this situation escalated fast.

The issue reportedly started because the couple had set up basketball hoops in the road for their children to play. When the young man parked nearby, they allegedly became upset that his car blocked part of the area they wanted to use. There was just one problem: the man says he was legally parked.

Oregon Couple Shock Internet With Gross Behavior Towards Teenager

That tiny detail has become the entire internet battleground. Video from the incident exploded on TikTok before spreading across other social media platforms, where viewers quickly began choosing sides. In the footage, the Oregon couple can be seen repeatedly confronting the young man and pressuring him to move his vehicle so their children could continue playing basketball freely in the street.

The young man, who claimed he was a minor, wasn’t having it. Instead, he stood his ground and reminded them the road was public property. According to him, he had every right to leave his car there. As the argument dragged on, the young man began repeatedly responding to the couple with one word: “ew.”

Somehow, that single word seemed to emotionally devastate the couple more than the parking situation itself. Social media users immediately noticed how irritated the pair became every time he said it, with many commenters joking that the reactions made it obvious they felt personally insulted.

At one point during the confrontation, the Oregon woman reportedly defended herself by claiming she was a model while arguing back at him. The internet, naturally, had a field day with that detail.

But underneath the bizarre insults and awkward energy, the young man later explained there was actually a serious reason he chose that particular parking spot. In a follow-up clip, he claimed one of his car windows had previously been smashed when parked elsewhere in the neighborhood, so he intentionally picked a spot where he felt safer leaving the vehicle before heading to work.

That explanation, however, apparently didn’t matter to the couple. According to the videos, they continued insisting he move and even warned him that stray basketballs from their kids’ game could accidentally hit and damage his car if it stayed there.

The Comments Were Brutal

Online viewers were not impressed. Many commenters accused the couple of acting entitled over a public street, while others pointed out that setting up temporary basketball hoops doesn’t suddenly turn a roadway into private property.

“Who are these Schitts Creek wannabes?” one person joked. “They are so chopped it’s sending me,” said another. “Peaked in high school energy,” a third person declared. “Jelly Roll’s biggest fans,” a fourth comment read.

Of course, some people also thought everybody involved looked immature by the end of the exchange. Between the constant arguing, sarcastic comments, and escalating tension, the entire thing started to feel less like a serious neighborhood issue and more like an episode of reality TV filmed in a suburban cul-de-sac.

Still, that’s exactly why the Oregon clip blew up online. It had everything social media loves: petty conflict, awkward insults, public entitlement accusations, and a completely unnecessary escalation over something ridiculously small.
