Times are very tough for a lot of Americans right now. There are countless families and individuals who are struggling financially due to the consistent rise in everyday prices as well as the price of gasoline. Now, with that being said, people argue on and on about this kind of stuff all day, usually online. However, not everyone keeps it online, and this recently posted TikTok video only further proves that point. The clip has around 300K likes and 1.3 million views as this Ohio woman finds hilarious complaints handwritten on a gas pump.
The TikTok video would begin with the young woman having already stepped out of her vehicle in order to pump her gas. However, with the prices of fuel skyrocketing, there are going to be some less-than-satisfied customers. Right on cue, the Ohio woman would then state, “Only in America are people arguing at the pump.” She then goes to read all of the written notes that stain the fuel pump. “White people did this,” read one. “Not all white people, I hate Trump too,” pointed out another’s message. One more note also said, “If you voted for Trump, you did this,” with an arrow pointing to the price of the gas.
TikTok Reacts To Ohio Gas Pump’s Comment Section
Unsurprisingly, the TikTok comment section also had to chime in here. Many users would then rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the discovery. “We’re all collectively losing it,” wrote one. Another joked, “I need to go add a comment I got things to say.” One more commenter then pointed out that the pump is an “IRL comment section.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “This makes me realize I’m not using my free will to its full potential.”
As the TikTok video continues, the Ohio woman goes on reading the other messages. Sadly, there are some pretty hateful and straight-up racist ones, as well as some that are very lighthearted. Although with that being said, most of the notes are very anti-Trump; one even went as far as to say “We hate you.”
Sadly, the clip comes to an end following this, as the Ohio woman actually has to pump her gas now. At the end of the day, it doesn’t seem like the prices will be getting any cheaper anytime soon. People will continue to rage despite what happens, though. People need to put fuel in their vehicles; it’s a necessity in modern life. Hopefully, something can change sooner rather than later, but for now it’s not looking good.
