Playing sports can be some of the best memories a child can make, if handled the right way. However, that is sadly just not always the case; sometimes a bad coach, or even the parents, can kill a child’s love for the game. With that being said, this recently posted TikTok is a perfect example of that. The clip has around 36K likes and 678K views as some Ohio fathers go absolutely “Wild” on a Little League Baseball game’s umpire.
The TikTok video would then begin by throwing viewers right into the fire. One of the men can be seen already yelling at the ump about an alleged missed call, or maybe just a bad one. The man is being very loud as he yells, and is right in front of the dugout filled with children. This prompts a few other parents to tell him to “Think of the kids.” The Ohio father then cools down slightly as he starts to walk away. Yet, he has to get the last word as he half-heartedly insults the ump. It was enough, though. The ump then spins back around and tosses the man out of the game.

This, in turn, enrages another Ohio father, as now it is his turn to scream at this poor umpire. The man can be heard insulting the ump, telling him he is bad at his job, and much more. At one point, even the children chime in, as well as a few other parents. Things are getting way out of hand, especially for a children’s game that is meant to be fun. Although the parents are making sure they kill any last bit of fun with their behavior.
Unsparingly, the TikTok comment section had a lot to say about this clip, as many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts regarding what they saw. “Too late dude. I’m on the umps’ side. This is never ok to yell at umps. They’re kids,” wrote one. Another pointed out, “As a coach, why isn’t the coach stepping in to try to defuse the situation? Looks like he is just standing there watching.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Parents ruin the game.”
The TikTok would then come to an end following a few more minutes of this angry Ohio father screaming curse words at a Little League Baseball game’s umpire. At the end of the day, this was embarrassing behavior from these so-called adults. Hopefully, this way of acting does not rub off on their children, as it is just not okay.
