From the very start, the video carried an unsettling tone, leaving people uneasy before they even understood why. By the time the full story unfolded, disgust had completely taken over.
The influencer, known as Lawn Answers on Instagram, reveals he regularly drinks coffee every day. However, he also revealed that his routine included something most people would never admit publicly. Instead of properly cleaning his coffee cup, he explained that he only rinses it with water after each use.

Soap never enters the picture. Over time, he came to see the cup as “seasoned,” implying that repeated use without washing somehow made it better. Viewers, however, immediately saw this as a major red flag. Curious to see if his habit had consequences, the North Carolina influencer decided to put his cup to the test.
He swabbed multiple parts of the same coffee cup and placed those samples into separate petri dishes. To compare the results, he also prepared a control dish using the plain water he normally uses for rinsing the cup.
The control dish showed no bacterial growth, which briefly gave the impression that his routine might not be as bad as people feared. He then showed a sample taken from his dog’s water bowl, which displayed obvious bacteria. While that result was acknowledged, it didn’t seem to bother him much.
Results Grossed Almost Everyone Out
Things took a turn when the swabs from the coffee cup were revealed. A sample taken from the rim, where his mouth regularly touches, showed clear bacterial growth. Another swab from beneath the cup’s slider produced similar results. The most unsettling sample came from inside the cup shortly after it had been used, which also showed bacteria. Despite all of this, he laughed it off and showed no intention of changing his habits.
“I feel like this guy KNOWS there’s going to be SOMETHING there,” one follower writes.
