The United States of America has always been at war with drugs. However, that doesn’t stop many Americans from consistently using illegal substances. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 97K likes and 640K views as a group of North Carolina diners is seen getting swarmed by police officers after using drugs out in the open. Viewers seemingly can’t get enough of the drama as this clip continues to go viral.
The TikTok video starts off with the person recording sitting across the street from the group of diners. However, once they zoom in to get a better look, viewers can see clear as day that the group of North Carolina natives is, in fact, using drugs. One of the men can even be seen putting his head down to snort the substance. Suddenly, the person recording would shift their focus as they leave the group for a short time. However, it is only to show viewers that a group of police officers is heading right towards the group of drug-using diners. The cherry on top seems to be that the group doesn’t even notice the cops until it’s too late.
TikTok Reacts To North Carolina Drug Bust
The TikTok comment section then had to chime in, as many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding this encounter. One asked, “Who does it out in the open like that anyway?” Another pointed out, “You could have said something,” in regard to the person recording. One more commenter then stated, “They popped up from every angle too!” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “They still didn’t notice until the flashlight was directly in their faces and completely surrounded; they are so oblivious.” Apparently most social media users seem to be questioning the inelegance of this group of diners.
As the TikTok video continues, the group of North Carolina natives gets totally surrounded by police officers. Viewers can see that they are shining flashlights on the table that was used for the group’s drugs, as well as questioning the group directly. At one point, the man even attempts to consult the woman he was with, and she is pretty upset about what’s going on. However, the officers caught them red-handed, and they knew it. One even looks at the people recording and giggles a little.
The clip would then come to an end with the group of North Carolina diners standing up and getting placed in handcuffs. At the end of the day, the best option is to just never start doing drugs. Nevertheless, somebody doing that out in public, and in plain view of everyone, probably isn’t capable of making the right decisions.
